Top 7 Plus Size Spring Fashion Picks

Spring is in full swing, although its a chilly 60 something degrees today in the South, and summer is just around the corner. If you are like me and haven't started your Spring/Summer clothes shopping yet (I know, I'm mad late) then this post is for you.

I am eager to start my Spring/Summer shopping and of course want to get a few on-trend items as well as some classic pieces. Peep below to see what's trending for Spring and my top picks so you can be on fleek!

1. All White Everything

The white on white on white trend has me like yaaaaaaaaaaasss hunty! I have been on the hunt for THE PERFECT pair of white jeans and white dress pants. But, then I peeped all the hot white dresses Monif C. has and I need to cop one of those too.

Malaysia Ruffle Dress, Monif C.

Ridley Ankle Grazer Jeans, ASOS Curve

2. Maxi Dresses

I live in dresses in the Summer, because they are so easy to throw on as well as to pack on vacay. Nothing brings me more joy than the maxi dress. It's the most effortless way to be fly when its hot as balls outside. And, its so easy to throw on over a bathing suit.

Butterfly Print Maxi Dress, Navabi

Check out the new Spring collection from Navabi and get 15% off with code premium15 (ends 4/30/15)

Colorblock Maxi Dress, ASOS Curve

3. Floral Prints

I used to hate flowers, but now there are a lot of floral prints that are less your grandma's couch and more Beyonce's couch.

Floral Print Tube Midi Dress, Pink Clubwear

Magenta and Black Rose Skater Dress, Yours Clothing

4. Jumpsuits/Rompers

Jumpsuits and rompers have come a long way since childhood. They are so chic and fun. Some can even  be worn on the red carpet. I love the fun look and will be adding at least one more to my collection.

Safiya Cape Romper, Monif C.

Wide Leg Jumpsuit with Back Detail, ASOS Curve

5. Sporty Chic

I'm a tomboy at heart and I love sports. I live for casual, sporty yet still fabulous. So of course I'm loving the sporty trend.

Field Day Bomber Jacket, Fashion to Figure

Short-Sleeved Sweatshirt, Mynt 1792

6. Crop Tops

I will say I have yet to have the courage to rock a crop top, but if I find one in a store that I like I shall try it on to see how it looks. But, I love them on other curvy girls.

Geo Printed Crop Top, Eloquii

Leopard Crop Blouse, Jibri

7. Midi Skirts

I neeeeed a midi skirt. I love them. I rarely buy skirts or wear them, yet I love them. This length is perfect for Spring when its not quite hot and not quite cold.

Makena Pleated Midi , Fashion to Figure

Floral Lace Pencil Skirt, Eloquii

Product Review of Dia and Co Styling Service

Have you heard of Dia & Co? I hadn't heard of them when I was asked by one of its founders to give it a try.

So what is Dia & Co? Your own personal stylist from home for plus size women sizes 10 and up. What I mean by personal stylist is you fill out a style profile on their website, takes about 5 minutes. You will then get a personal phone call from a stylist at Dia & Co. They will ask you a few more questions about yourself to make sure they fully understand your style, needs and budget. You will need to provide your credit card info in order to pay the $20 fee. This fee is credited towards any purchase you make. If you decide not to buy you will be charged the $20 styling fee. And nope, you never pay shipping.

They will then pick out some good quality designer pieces and mail them to your door.  Once you receive your box, you go through and pick out what you love and what you're not feeling. Next, log-on to the website and rate your items so they know what people really like or hate. You then mail back any items you don't want with the mailing label and package provided. The items you love you keep and you will be charged the price of those items (which are clearly spelled out for you on your invoice) minus the $20 fee.

How simple is that?

My Experience

So I received 5 items about 2 weeks after I spoke with them. I was surprised to find well known brands in my box like one of my favs, Jessica Simpson. I have to say Lydia was pretty spot on with my style based on our discussion and my profile. I loved everything in my box except a shirt that had a pattern I wasn't feeling. But, I tried everything on as you never know how much you like or hate something until you do. I only ended up keeping a pair of black Jessica Simpson ponte knit skinny pants (which I wear to death!). I fell in love with a fuchsia blazer, but it fit me weird, bummer.

I recommend checking Dia & Co out. Who has time to shop these days? And don't we all secretly want our own stylist? And the fact that they specialize in sizes 10 and up is fabulous. What's to lose? Unlike those popular subscription services, you're not opted in to receiving and paying for a box every month. If you get your first box and hate it then don't ask for another box. If you love it? Order another box! BOOM.

I know you're going to check it out so when you fill out your profile and talk with your stylist make sure to tell them Tiara R sent you! Get your box

I Need That: Rebdolls Tuxedo Envelope Dress

This dress though!!! The most creatively well put together AFFORDABLE plus size dress I've seen in years. You not going to be able to tell me nothing in this dress. I definitely need this in my life. That draping in the front to hide the tummy while showing off the girls, yessss honey!

I've only bought one thing from Rebdolls, the Missy Piggy tee, but I love their styles and will be buying from them more. Plus, I love that they are affordable and won't side track my budget if I impulsively buy something.

Get it over at Rebdolls
