Husband of the Week: A Tribute to Paul Walker

Sigh, I think I'm still in shock over Paul Walker's tragic death. More than the fact that he was the face of the Fast and Furious franchise, very attractive and a good actor...he was a great person, father, son and friend. I didn't know him personally, but I've followed his career since I first saw him in Varsity Blues back when I was in high school. He was in my top celebrity crushes ever since then.

"I live by 'Go big or go home.' That's with everything. It's like either commit and go for it or don't do it at all. I apply that to everything. I apply that to relationships, I apply that to like sports, I apply that to everything. That's what I live by. That's how I like it." --Paul Walker
Me and my friends and family are HUGE fans of the Fast and Furious franchise; well the ones with the original cast of course. I've seen each one opening weekend and have them on DVD. Definitely my favorite franchise of movies EVER! Watching them will not be the same, but I hope they honor his memory and finish the 7th installment, although it will be emotional to finish and to watch.

In following his career I also watched and read many an interview and article about him. No one ever had a bad thing to say about him and he always came off as humble, nice, genuine and down-to-earth in all of his interviews. He had a big heart and did a lot for charity and he gushed when talking about his daughter, Meadow. I just watched an interview with him on Extra a few weeks ago and remember thinking he's such a sweetheart! So freaking sad what happened and I send prayers and love to his family and friends, especially his daughter during this time.

Let us not forget Roger Rodas who also perished in the crashed. May he rest in peace as well and condolences to his family.

R.I.P. Paul Walker
You will be missed!
