I Need That: Gallery Viewing Dress by Shop Ruche

Have you tried ShopRuche.com? I just got put on to this site. It reminds me of an affordable Anthropologie meets Mod Cloth. I love the dainty, feminine and vintage looks. They recently launched their Curvy Plus line and I plan on trying them out soon. This Gallery Viewing dress caught my eye. I love the pattern, the silhouette is very flattering and the hi-low has it on trend. Its a versatile dress that you can wear day to night...work to weekend. This is great to throw in your suitcase for a Spring/Summer vacay.

YAY or NAY?

7 Plus Size Shorts to Rock this Summer

So me and shorts have never been friends. Being plus size has never stopped me from being daring, bold and fashion forward when it comes to my clothes...I will wear damn near anything and pull that ish right on off like a boss BUT, I do not wear shorts! I can't tell you the last time I wore a pair of shorts that weren't long bermuda shorts in public. I'm thinking senior year in high school. Why? Well, chub rub sucks, and I spend more time pulling my shorts out of my crotch then I do walking in them; therefore, I just avoid them altogether.

But, short shorts in plus sizes are cropping up everywhere this summer and dare I say I just bought a pair? Yup, I bought these bad boys...thanks to my cousin's encouragement (thanks Ebonie!). And yes, I bought them in HOT ASS PINK. I am going bold or going home this summer and will be flaunting my shit. Don't you just LOOOOOVE these??? The pleating and wide leg silhouette make them wear similar to a skirt. I don't think I'll have to do much crotch digging in these. YAY!

I know you want to know where you too can obtain some fly ass shorts for summer. Of course you know I got you. I've rounded up 7 plus size shorts to werk this summer...or Spring if its actually hot where you live now (jealous).

1. Crochet Shorts, Forever 21

2. Denim Shorts with Crochet Detail, ASOS Curve

3.  Leopard Tie Front Shorts, Torrid

4. Bermuda Shorts, Eloquii

5. Dark Rinse Bermuda Short, Torrid

6. Anchor-Graphic Khaki Short, Old Navy

7. Zipper-Pocket Walking Shorts, Ashley Stewart

Do you wear shorts? Which of these would you rock?

I Need That: Bandage Bustier from Hips and Curves

I was minding my own business shopping for underwear when I came across this FIERCE piece of plus size lingerie. This bandage bustier is giving me life right now! This is sexy, edgy and classy at the same damn time. It hides what you want to hide and shows what you want to show. Get the stockings to rock with it and you're good to go.

The garter belt is detachable and the straps are detachable so you can wear it halter style or strapless. I might need to cop this, I'm just saying.

You can get it at Hips and Curves.

What do you think ladies?

Outfit of the Week: 4.7.14

My new color for spring and summer with be the hot orange/coral that is everywhere. I absolutely LOVE how this color looks on my skin tone. Last summer I was all about mint color, but I am very excited for the hot coral look. This top from Target is perfect for work, weekend, or a night out and I still love the pleather skater skirts. I rocked this for a girls night out and couldn't no one tell me nothing!

I have my gripes about Target's alleged new and improved plus size section (rolls eyes) but I did love this top. It was about the only thing worth buying, but I'll save that rant for another post. Find out where to get my look below.

Sleeveless Top: Target
Skater Skirt: Forever 21, similar here
Flip Flops: Aldo, similar here
Sunglasses: Old Navy
Earrings: Forever 21

Are you feeling it? Are you still rocking skater skirts this spring/summer?

Outfit of the Week: 4.5.14

Forever 21 has gotten more money from me this week than I was planning on, but I got some HOT outfits and almost all my Spring shopping is now done! I had been wanting a pair of joggers and I've been eyeing the Nirvana tee all season. I finally got both and they worked together as an outfit. In love with both pieces. The tee fits me just right. My only gripe is with the joggers. The legs won't stay pushed up. They should have made it elastic. Otherwise, in love with them.

Let me know what you think.
